HTC thunderbolt: New Release date(another delay), Price, Specs and skype

After Verizon announced the HTC Thunderbolt, a 4G Google Android-based smartphone that’s exclusive to the carrier. The Internet has been full of speculation of when and where. However, we’re still none the wiser as to the much awaited handset’s official release date. We once thought the HTC Thunderbolt may be coming out on February 24th, but the lastes Rumors from sources of Android Guys‘ say that it may be getting a 4-day delay – that’d make the new date February 28th.

For the price of the HTC thunderbolt, no one really knew how much the HTC Thunderbolt was going to cost up until a week or so ago, when Best Buy unveiled the handset’s price. As Chris Maugham previously noted here, Best Buy announced they would be selling the device for $249 with a 2-year Verizon Wireless contract.

For the HTC thunderbolt specs, the HTC and Verizon has revealed the official specs. some of you who believed the previous rumor will probably be a bit disappointed. There is no dual core processor inside the phone. The probability of this happening was very low as the 1.2GHz Qualcomm MSM8960 dual-core processor that was rumored to power the Thunderbolt will see the light of day only in 2012.

Check out some of the most important HTC Thunderbolt specs:
